You would’ve wanted Holland to sign the defense version of Stephen Weiss?

I thought everyone agreed that old, slow and broken was not the way for the Wings to go…

Trolling just for the sake of trolling?

TBL can have him.

What is the harm in bringing in a guy on a PTO? It’s literally no risk, some type of reward, and may help us push out an errorson.

Or, now that I think about it, he could be our 7th D and make Kenny lose all his young guys. Better to have more D options than too few.

Whew, best move Holland has made all summer. I was a little worried about this one.
Have fun with that toolbag, Yzerman.

This guy trash talked the Wings when he was a free agent a few years ago.
Never forget when he dove after a legit hit by Homer any cried to the press.

He’s got too many forwards and too many goalies, might as well sign too many defensemen too.

Difference: Wiz would be on a TRYOUT.

Nice try, Wayne.

And apparently you don’t understand what the endgame of signing a PTO is.

Nice try, Wayne.

You almost understand.  That’s pretty good.

Baby steps though, don’t want to strain that grey matter too much.

Now you’re just being willfully ignorant.

There is no pre-defined end game to a PTO, Wayne. Either they are good enough to make the team and you sign them. Or they impress another team and they sign somewhere else. Or they suck and don’t sign anywhere at all.
