from the CP at TSN,
The Quebec Remparts have called a news conference on Thursday amid speculation that goaltending great Patrick Roy will return to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League club.
Roy acted as part-owner, coach and general manager of the Remparts from 2005 to 2013, winning a Memorial Cup in 2006. He has been out of hockey since acting as coach and vice-president of hockey operations for the Colorado Avalanche from 2013 to 2016.
Talk of the 52-year-old Roy returning to the Remparts began two weeks ago when Philippe Boucher resigned as coach and GM. Roy has since been spotted at QMJHL playoff games.
