from Jeremy P. Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch,
Blues center Paul Stastny will miss some time after blocking a shot in Friday's 4-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks.
The club announced that Stastny has flown back to St. Louis and a further update on his status will be given after the team returns to town from its current six-game road trip.
So, the Blues will be without their top-line center Sunday in Winnipeg, Tuesday in Montreal, and likely longer.
Stastny was hit by a slap shot off the stick of Vancouver's Matt Bartkowski with 4 minutes, 10 seconds left in the second period. He left for the locker room and did not return for the remainder of the period.
