Habs injuries starting to get comical

Mid-game against the Bruins, an entertaining affair that has Boston up 2-0, and now we learn Mike Cammalleri is gone for the night with an injury. Not good. Cammalleri. Josh Gorges. Andrei Markov. A hobbling Roman Hamrlik. How much more of this can the Habs take before they’re sunk? They seem be have turned things around the last week, after a fairly porous seven game stretch. But can they really continue at their current level missing so many important bodies?
The best news so far tonight is that Benoit Pouliot and David Desharnais really do look as if they’re developing some chemistry. But that’s not going to be enough to offset the losses of people like Markov, Cammalleri and Gorges.
Hamrlik, well, ok, they can probably absorb that. Although he is back and playing through the pain tonight. Good for him.
10:25 PM: Elliotte Friedman has reported via Twitter that Cammalleri, according to Jacques Martin, left the game because he was ill. If true, this is good news for Habs fans. Oh, and what an end to that hockey game!
