Habs face Nucks, deadline looms

Should be a great game tonight as the Canadiens try to eke a win out of their, to this point, disappointing road trip out west. Carry Price gets the start in hs stomping ground, as the Habs continue to ice a patchwork defense and an offense that continued to underachiever.
And,of course, the trade deadline is but six days away. Will they add a forward? Depth on defense? You know my two cents, that Chris Phillips and an Alex Kovalev or Cory Stillman would make this team look a lot better. And heck, if Dustin Penner is really available, can the Canadiens, desperate for size, not st least consider making a pitch?
A side note: my trusty Mac has failed me yet again. It is, as they say, in the shop. Until I get it back (they tell me a week) I’m getting used to typing on an iPad. So posts may be a bit more sparse for the next week or so, but fear not, I haven’t disappeared.
Let’s see what the Habs have in the tank tonight. All I can say is, it better be more than the Heritage Bust from Sunday night.

I agree. I expect Kostitsyn to be dealt, and hope Gomez goes too, though I doubt that’s possible. A big D, forward and proven vet scorer would make the Habs much stronger heading into the post season.

If the Habs aren’t active at the Trade Deadline, they are toast. Physicality and Size are what this team has been missing all year. Time to fix it is rapidly running out.
