Guilty Plea For Barnaby With No Jail Time

Former Buffalo Sabre Matthew T. Barnaby late this afternoon pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and other charges, but was able to avoid jail time following a hearing Tuesday afternoon in Clarence town court.
Barnaby, who was arrested Dec. 5 after he was spotted driving without a front tire on Transit Road, was ordered to serve 100 hours of community service in the Clarence School District.
He also had his license revoked for a year and must receive inpatient counseling.
