NEW YORK (Nov. 13, 2015) – Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for roughing Colorado Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog during NHL Game No. 230 in Boston on Thursday, Nov. 12, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 5:46 of the second period. Marchand was assessed a minor penalty for roughing.
The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
