Don’t Blame P.K. Subban

Haters gonna hate, right?
I’m sure some deluded members of the Commentariat will be all over P.K. Subban for the gaffe that led to Dwight King’s winning goal Thursday night in L.A.
The error just proves Mike Babcock was right, they’ll suggest, in leaving Subban off the preliminary roster for the World Cup.
They are wrong.
And so’s Babcock.
Can you imagine where your Montreal Canadiens would be without P.K. Subban this season?
Definitely in Auston Matthews draft territory.
So O.K., blame him for that.
But let’s drill down a bit on Suban’s numbers during the team’s 0-for-California road trip.
