Patrick Roy was not happy after his Colorado Avalanche defeated the St. Louis Blues 4-0 on Saturday--during what was part of a much larger and nastier set of scraps between the two teams (as Puck Daddy's Jen Neale notes)...
Here's the hit in question--and, uh, Roy...Has a point?

Roy should be the last person to call the kettle black. He’s had his share of gutless moves forcing unwilling goalies to fight him to feed his ego.

Consider the Reputation (of Backes). and, this followed a hit on Landeskog earlier in the game, no? I’m sure Backes was looking for it.

Same game, from Fred Murtz…
Brenden Morrow gets a major penalty for cross-checking John Mitchell…
Patrick Bordeleau goes after Kevin Shattnekirk...
Line brawl! It’s time for a line brawl!;
And here’s Hitchcock’s presser.
