Datsyuk Still Out, Olympics In Jeopardy?

As for Pavel Datsyuk, it’s beginning to look more and more like his chances of participating in the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, are getting slimmer and slimmer.
“Nope,” Wings coach Mike Babcock said shrugging his shoulders when asked if there was anything new on Datsyuk.
Datsyuk is the captain for Russia.
Asked if he would be back before the Olympics, Babcock said, “I don’t know. I’m just like you. I just keep asking.”

I hate to say this as a Swede..But I think both Dat and Z should stay home and nursing theirs injuries..Red wings is far more important then a Swedish Olympic gold. Go sweden Go

Everyone who has an injury which has sidelined them for significant time the last few weeks should take the olympics off so they can heal. Alfredsson, Ericsson, Monster, Howard, Z, Pavel… All of them should be getting healthy.
