Dan Carcillo Will Be Meeting With Department Of Player Safety

Chicago Blackhawks forward Daniel Carcillo will be offered an in-person hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety for cross-checking Winnipeg Jets forward Mathieu Perreault in a game Friday.
Carcillo was not penalized for the play that occurred near the end of the second period (he drew a penalty for cross-checking Jets forward Mark Scheifele afterward). Perreault did not play in the third period.
Winnipeg won 4-2.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: cross-checking. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
