Great questions (dripping with sarcasam) by the interviewer, read just like they were typed up.

The guy asking the questions works for the NHL network for petes sake!

The league trying to get out in front of the story after the fact???

If your’e really concerned with restoring integrity to the league , Collie, Bill, Gary

Everyone at VP level & above RESIGN.

Bingo DRD.  Let him face the media in a scheduled press conference, then we can judge fairly.

This is what Tiger Woods should have done 1 year ago.  Created the Tiger Woods Network.  Hire a news-anchor looking type dude.  And get interviewed by him.

Replacing Colin Campbell isn’t going to change anything if the suspension system remains the same. All that power in the hands of one man entangled in the system and the league naturally results in the kind of interaction demonstrated by the e-mails, eg. lobbying, candor, and heated disagreements in different directions.

You need something like a completely transparent disciplinary board occupied by independent people with varied connections and knowledge of the hockey world, and far better suspension rules with less interpretational leeway, to reach a level of justice acceptable to most people. But I don’t see that, or anything remotely similar, happening.

In the current system, I think Colin Campbell is just as good as anyone else they might assign the job.

Wow that was a pretty insulting interview, the NHL brass seems to think we actually believe the drivel they put out and call news. That dweeb must have been embarrassed to actually ask those questions, they sounded so lame I’m sure Mr Campbell must have written them.
