via Pierre LeBrun of ESPN,
... unrestricted free agent Christian Ehrhoff can still help a team for sure, the 32-year-old coming off a tough season injury-wise but still a terrific skater and passer.
"I’ve had a number of clubs call me to let me know that they’re going to be interested [when the market opens]," veteran agent Rick Curran told ESPN.com Monday morning.
This time around, it’s not about looking for the monster, long-term deal.
"That’s not his priority, his priority is to get with a club that’s competitive and has a chance to challenge for a Cup," said Curran.
Read into that that they’ve already heard from the more obvious playoff contenders.

One year, inexpensive deal with Chicago a la Richards this year? They’re going to need some cheap help with Oduya likely leaving and Rozsival for sure gone. I don’t think any of the guys lower in the depth chart are ready to step into the top four.

In other words, I guess he doesn’t want to resign with Pitt.
This comes after he tried to pad his stats with lots of points playing with the Pens so he could get a big deal this year, but that didn’t work too well.
