Brad, if you intention is to reduce the number of NHL capable players then hurray for you, keep up “your” style of play. Meanwhile, all most every other NHL player seems to respect their peers more than you do. I wonder, if a blind poll was taken, how many of your peers would actually want you in the league?

Seriously, what someone should do is call up some career minor league type of knuckle dragger (do they even exist anymore?)  and have this guy just destroy Marchand. Force that tool to drop his gloves and knock out a few of his chicklets and bust that already crooked nose of the little rat.

Not usually an advocate if violence, but Marchand has long since used up his get out jail free cards. Rats will continue to be rats unless someone stands up and takes care of business.

He has not used up his get-out-of-jail-free cards because DOPS does not give out sever punishments for players who are deemed too important to their team.

What DOPS did with Marchand is par for the course. To be honest, I didn’t even expect 5 games.
If, let’s say someone like Booth did that, he’d be suspended 10 games at least on the 1st offence.

That definitely sounds like what DOPS usually does to someone with no history.

Marchand is a darn good hockey player who plays with fire and passion that only Larkin seems to show game to game around here. 

Marchand should look to James Neal for how to get right.
