OTTAWA - Ottawa Senators (@Senators) general manager Pierre Dorion announced today that the club has signed goaltender Craig Anderson to a two-year contract extension. The contract will carry an average annual value of $4.75 million ($5.5M in year one, $4.0M in year two).

Anderson, 36, posted a record of 25-11-4 with a 2.28 goals-against-average, a .916 save percentage and five shutouts in 40 games with Ottawa last season. He started each of the Senators 19 playoff games, recording 11 wins, a 2.34 goals-against-average, a .922 save percentage and one shutout.
