Looking for Fans Reactions To a Few Questions I have

Good morning folks. The dog days of summer really are here and as such, I want to help keep hockey on your minds.

As such, I would like to get your thoughts on the following questions:

- Will Kovalchuk still end up being a New Jersey Devil? Why or why not?

- Was the NHL right to reject the Kovalchuk contract? Why or why not?

- Does this whole Kovalchuk saga prove that the league could be headed for a lockout in the next few seasons? Why or why not?

- How will the Chicago Blackhawks be next season after losing several key players due to salary cap problems? Why?

- Where will UFA goaltender Marty Turco end up signing? Why? How about UFA netminder Jose Theodore?

Yzerman - Canadian Goalies on the Brain?

Steve Yzerman has been around this game long enough to know what good goaltending is. He’s seen it up close and personal with the likes of Mike Vernon, Chris Osgood, Dominik Hasek and Curtis Joseph.

Now that Stevie Y is the GM of Team Canada heading into the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, he has to select three goaltenders that will help lead the team to a Gold Medal.

Who do you think will be on the long list of netminders that Yzerman will choose from? Which netminders do you think will be selected? Here is a brief sample list of netminders I can think of that could be worthy of a selection onto Canada’s Olympic team:

- Martin Brodeur
- Roberto Luongo
- Cam Ward
- Marc-Andre Fleury
- Chris Osgood
- Jean-Sebastien Giguere

Who am I missing? Who else would you select? Let’s hear’em folks!
- Carey Price

An Interview with Seth Rorabaugh of Empty Netters

Good evening folks. For your reading pleasure, please check out the interview I did with Seth Rorabaugh, the Post-Gazette’s Pittsburgh Penguins blogger.

Seth was kind of enough to take time out of his hectic schedule to tell us about how he got into hockey, how he got his start as a hockey journalist, his thoughts of the future of hockey blogs and his prediction on who this year’s Stanley Cup Finals representatives will be.
