Random Madness (i.e. Who Hates Oil?)

Game On!-- Markus Naslund is getting 2.7 shots per game average now; a marked improvement from the .0002 shots per game (??!!) experienced during much of the year. Go Nazzy.-- While Edmonton bloggers appear to continue to operate on the theory that the Earth is flat (ie. "last year we went to the finals! we're better! we're clutch! yay!") they do have some reason to be optimistic.The fact is, as important as this game is to Vancouver, it's that much more important to the Oilers. They're six points behind us, and their team's divisional record is so bad recently, I'm usually pretty giddy about it. But tonight you've got to figure that they're operating on a Fear Factor Principle: fear of missing the playoffs. Not that they should be -- there's plenty of time left in the season -- but this divisional situation is definitely going to be a factor.Vancouver's own divisional record was pretty scary early in the season. Luon-God (copyright, Temujin) better not fall from his perch anytime soon.-- Waiting for Stanley recommends spamming the hell out of Oilers fans today. Well, I'm all for illegal activity -- consider this an official Canucks & Beyond endorsement (Paul, get me a lawyer...)-- The Yankee Canuck points to the most evil and fantastic thing to EVER hit Youtube. And Isabella at Stick in Rink is having dark flashbacks... I'm going to have to buy that girl a drink.More later...
