Race to the Scoring Title

03/04/2011 at 5:36pm EST

While the Canucks are in a .500 style slump (practically The End of Days, if you’re to believe the likes of Tony Gallagher) there’s still no shortage of positive editorial about Daniel Sedin lately, and his potential to make history. (Some thoughts from THN as well, pondering an MVP vote.)

But it’s going to be a horse race to the end, as this chart shows:

Such a tight race isn’t helped by the Canucks recent struggles as a team (and of course, there’s always the chance it’s all Alex Burrows fault.) So does Daniel (or Henrik, for that matter) have a realistic chance of winning the race? Or will it go elsewhere?

I’m betting my money on Henrik. Can’t shake the feeling he’ll sneak up in the end.
