Dear Sports Reporters,

Just to give the local and international sports media a sneak preview, this is a rough draft of the official new team logo of the Vancouver Canucks NHL hockey club to be officially unveiled at a press conference on Wednesday, August 29 at 12:00pm noon. Orca Bay Sports & Entertainment hired Cossette Communications, Inc. to prepare a preliminary and final design that best represents the indigenous significance of the west coast of Canada. It was designed by local graphic artist, Alvin R. Singh.

Overall, the new logo really connotes the majestic natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest region. [...]
