The Red Wings (11-6-5) wrap up a five-game homestand. Husso will be back in net after being pulled midway through Monday’s 4-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
“Right now, we’re looking to win our homestand,” coach Derek Lalonde said. “We’re 2-1-1. This could be a great homestand, this could be an OK homestand. We’re trying to grow as a team and it’s playing these teams that are already there and established.”
The Golden Knights (17-7-1) are 4-5-1 in their past 10 following a nine-game winning streak under Bruce Cassidy, who coached the Bruins the previous six seasons.
Jack Eichel, in his first full season with Vegas, has 12 goals and 28 points.
“These teams that are three deep with skill have created some issues for us,” Lalonde said. “The three centers, it creates matchup issues.”
