from Ted Kulfan of the Detroit News,
The losses keep mounting for the Red Wings.
When is it ever going to end?
The Red Wings lost again Wednesday — what else is new lately — falling 5-1 to the New York Rangers.
It was the Wings’ fourth consecutive loss and extended their stretch of losing to 12 of 13 games — all after the Wings (4-12-1) had won their first three of four.
from Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press,
Players are describing this as the toughest stretch they have gone through. Jeff Blashill is pushing the process.
The Detroit Red Wings are mired in misery, with one blowout loss following another. It is getting to them, having to explain why they lose by four goals again and again and again. They have talented players in their lineup but it isn’t showing in games. They aren’t even at the quarter point of their season and they already have lost 12 games in regulation.
