Good evening to everyone. Tonight’s game is going to be played before a crowd that mostly will remember the glory days of the memorable Wings teams that were an NHL powerhouse for many, many years. The Wings are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Cup Team that ended a 42 year drought.
While reminiscing is nice, most of the players on this Wings team today were youngsters, toddlers, or, maybe not even born way back then. They get to learn firsthand from the guys that raised the Cup all those years ago. But, the game has changed since the good old days, and it’s time to look forward and make new memories. We should all enjoy tonight’s celebration for what it’s worth, while keeping our eyes on the future. Enjoy!
The pre game festivities are set to begin around 6:PM and will be broadcast on Bally Sports Detroit.
It’s the Capitals vs the Wings. The puck drops tonight at 7 PM and will be broadcast on Bally Sports Detroit and the Red Wings Radio Network (97.1 The Ticket in Detroit). Also NHLPP/ESPN+.

That was some of the most effective passing on a RW PP Ive seen in a long time. Passing with a purpose. Looked liked one of the 500 PP goals against the Wings in the Blash era.
To be fair, it was only 493 goals.

I knew that but he seems to have re-injured it after falling on a stick a couple games ago.
