The Wings took a 2-0 lead with goals by Nielsen in the 1st period and Larkin in the 2nd.

Then the Senators scored on the power play in the 2nd and added a goal early in the 3rd to tie the game.

Ottawa scored their third unanswered goal with about 14 minutes to play in the 3rd but Sam Gagner scored on the power play to ti the game 3-3.
