Well just when you thought it was over, it wasn't.
After being badly outplayed, six Detroit penalties helped, the Wings tied the game at 3-3 with 63 ticks left in the third period.
The Wings actually lead 2-1 after 40 minutes but the Islanders scored two quick goals and many probably thought the game was over.
In OT nada.
On to the shootout... no goals from Detroit and the NYI win 4-3.
