In the first period the Wings looked good and lead 1-0 after 20 minutes
Period two Detroit spent too much time in their own zone and it eventually cost them, 1-1 after 40 minutes.
Columbus scored two quick goals in the 3rd and the Wings added a goal with Greiss pulled late in the game but could not add the equalizer.
