Within the first five minutes of the game, Detroit had a shorty and a power play goal to take an early 2-0 lead.
No more scoring in the first but Boston added two of their own goals within 1 1/2 minutes or so to make it a 2-2 after forty minutes.
In the third, Boston scored with just over six minutes to take their first lead of the game.
No more scoring, Boston wins 3-2.
Below watch the Detroit goals and Seider taking a puck to the chin. He missed the last few minted of the second period, but did come back for the third with some stitches.
The Wings hung tough today even with lopsided officiating.

Please post a clip of the Larkin interference goal if you can please. I cannot find one.
Pretty cool that Pastrnak was one of the first players to check on Seider after the puck in the face. I know Pastrnak must of felt pretty bad on that.
Like you, I could not find one, will keep looking.
Thank you sir
Larkin knocked the stick out of the hands of the Boston player which allowed the pass to go through to a Red Wing player to score. A penalty every time unless an opposing player knocks the stick of the hands of a Red Wing player which of course is no penalty.
Lalonde said that it was "the right call. It’s just unfortunate - [Brad] Marchand did the same exact thing, tomahawked a stick out of the hand, they don’t call it."
