Its missed opportunities like these past two games that cost a team the playoffs. Extremely disappointing results. 1 of 4 points? Not good enough.
Fire Blashill?!?!?!?
WTF, this team has 2x the amount of talent we had the last 2 years when we dressed guys in top roles that were not even offered NHL contracts this year, and they just can't put it together. I'm not seeing a lot of marketable difference, outside of the impact of having a strong vet like Perron and a 4fold upgrade over Zadina with Kubalik, and having a goalie instead of the statue who wore a Greiss jersey last year. Those two forwards give us a 2nd PP unit, and the ability to mix and match, but they're now not connecting 5v5. Even on nights like last night where they're not getting blown out, they're heading to the box with the lead, committing stupid turnovers, or trying dumb passes that are not connecting (cough Seider/Chiarot cough cough)
Get this ship straight Yzerlonde!
I'm obviously a huge Bert fan, but I was shocked that he came out for a shift in overtime in his first game back after missing 15?!
This one is on the Head Coach.
Agree re upgrades. Disagree re losing.
Bert really looked rusty last night. I agree he should not have played in the O.T.
