The Wings scored twice in the 2nd period, the Sabres scored three times. 4-2 after 40 minutes.
Have to feel for Alex Nedeljkovic, who keeps getting the (clearly) worse efforts in front of him. He overcame it and helped the Detroit steal a win in NJ on opening weekend, but Red Wings are making life really tough on him so far this season.

Larkin scored a shorty early in the 3rd to make it 4-3, but Buffalo added 4 more goals to make the final 8-3.
