The Wings have lost five one-goal games. Three of those were in regulation. If they'd won those, we'd be looking at and talking about a team that is 13-6-2.

And now the Caps beckon in DC. Red-hot Buffalo tomorrow and BJ's for everyone on Monday.
Lose the next three and, yeah, they kind of are who we thought they'd be. Win two, maybe one, and we can see a realistic, middling, learning and growing hockey team, probably rebuilding a bit quicker than anyone thought they would.
But I kinda wonder what the reaction would be if the Wings swept these next three. We will see.
I'm, frankly, surprised I can string together more than two complete sentences. I am a wreck. I can't remember the last time I wanted one of our teams to win as badly as I want a Michigan victory tomorrow. My hatred for all things Ohio is so pervasive and so to-the-core overwhelming that I think I might throw up. Soon.
