The Wings will finish their road trip tonight in Ohio after finally getting a win out West. It was a game that could have gone either way, but, the Wings looked like they were playing better as the game went on. Let’s not kid ourselves, the Sharks goalie gifted them a couple of goals, and, tonight the Wings will be going for two wins in a row.
The Wings should know by now that they cannot afford to start any game down by a goal, and need to start a game, playing with the same intensity they show in the last half of every third period. There are still some bad habits that need to be broken, an understatement, eh? Nonetheless, let’s just try to enjoy watching this young team grow, and the veteran presence guiding them along.

I got back late from intermission because putting sheets back on the bed. One bad thing about Queen size is that stupid fitted sheet is almost, but not exactly, square in size and theres a 50-50 chance of tucking in the first two corners on the wrong side then the short side wont extend to the head of the bed, no matter how hard you pull it, and you have to pull up the mattress with one hand and rip out the corners you just tucked in. Well, with a 50-50 chance I managed to put the long side along the short end of the bed two times in a row.
My sheets have tags that say top/bottom. How appropriate 😉

Columbus IT people haven't done enough with the video setup to keep the players from vanishing along the boards
Its not as noticeable on the Columbus broadcast feed. I can switch between the two and yes they have different advertisements on the boards and the resulting pixelation is different too. I am guessing that Detroit gets the Columbus feed not the raw feed and pixelates from there.

They mentioned Ville Leino briefly. I saw his first game with the Wings in a make shift A2Y reunion in DC on Jan 31, 2009. He scored on a backhand spinorama in front of the net on his first shift. We all met before the game at a fake Irish bar nearby. This is Master Chief and wife behind the goal.
The Red line to Chinatown which was 3 transfers (for me) full of Cap fans when I used to go. Of course nothing is like wearing a Lions jersey to Jack Kent Cook in a metrocar full of Hog fans.
