Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
Good onya Bert! Very happy for you....grab the Cup!
from Bob Duff of Detroit Hockey Now,
Sebastian Cossa’s rookie season has hardly proven to be smooth sailing. Then again, it rarely is for first-year pros, especially netminders.
“Sebastian, it’s been a challenge for him and he’s trending in the right direction,” Detroit Red Wings GM Steve Yzerman said of the netminder he selected 15th overall in the 2021 NHL entry draft.
It certainly would appear that the waters are beginning to calm for Cossa. He’s been a brick wall between the pipes for the ECHL Toledo Walleye over the past month.
In his past six starts, Cossa is 6-0. He’s showing a 1.00 goals-against average and .965 save percentage with two shutouts over that span. The shutouts came in back-to-back starts.

F (orget....yeah stick with F) Boston and anyone that cheers for them.
Yep. I wish the best for Bert in that I hope he doesn't suffer any kind of severe injury. I honestly couldn't care less if he never scores another NHL goal, though.
Husso starts tonight per Lalonde.
