He kind of was. I love Probert. I actually cried when I heard he passed. When I worked in bars downtown in the late eighties, early nineties he would come in and chat me up. He could be a dick at times but always cool with me.
I have his rookie card, and many others. I paid $6 for it in like 1987 I think. My fave card, which is not his rookie card, I think its an Upper Deck, and hes sporting stitches under his eye.
