The Wings are 9-9-5 on the road this season, are 5-4-1 in their last ten games and are on a 2 game winning streak.
Since 2002, I have had fond memories of Vancouver and expect the same feeling tonight.

I remember one trip to Buffalo against Ryan Miller in goal, Babcock scratched Drew Miller with their parents in the arena and put in Pat Eaves. They did often replace each other in those roles but I always thought that was some intentional bitch slap by Babcock because Miller was frequently in the lineup and Eaves out, in those days.
Gotta say Babcock doesn’t seem like a very good person. Players aren’t gonna tolerate that long term. He’s lucky not to have same rep as Tortorella.
He screwed Modano out of a milestone career number game, and then held out Jason Spezza in Toronto with his family in the crowd. What goes around, comes around.

I was in the “ESPN Zone” in Las Vegas, which is no longer there, during that Vancouver playoff series in the lead video above. There was a couple from Vancouver BC next to me at the bar and they pretty much gave up on the series when that shot went in, although it was about dead even I think at the time.
The Canucks actually won games 1 & 2 in Detroit. Vancouver fans were talking sweep but they never won another game.
