Good evening and welcome. The Wings are in Ottawa and will face the Senators two nights in a row. A true back to back. We’re coming in off a disappointing loss, which no matter how hard anyone tries, cannot be spun into anything but what it was. The effort was all there, but, the end result was a loss. You don’t get points for moral victories, so put that game in the “over it” column and carry on.
The Sens are hot on our heels with only four points separating the two teams, and, if we’re really looking forward toward the postseason, every single game matters. When the season began, not a soul would have thought the Wings would be in the mix of any race to a Wild Card spot, but, here we are and the pressure is on.
Once again I’ll say, “just try to enjoy this ride as far as it takes us.”
Raymond is in, which is great. Rasmussen is out indefinitely, which really sucks.

What a clusterfook. Once in a lifetime snow event started Fri. Power went out at 2 a.m. Somewhere between 5-6 feet of snow, but I have a Generac whole house generator so no problem. Except the generator was completely buried and shut down. No power until 7 p.m. Sunday. Can't leave because snow plows created 7 ft. berms. Power lasted until 12:15 today and then restored again at 3 p.m. I am too old for this shit. I'll hang oot with youse reprobates until I can't. And, oh yeah, L.G.R.W.

Its worth saying twice,cal. I did wonder the other night as I know your residence is up in elevation. Not having power in winter is beyond an inconvenience, its miserable and can become life threatening.

Jebus, cal, that is freakin cold. I woke up Dec 24th with my heat pump furnace drain pvc pipe frozen so that water backed up to the furnace and shut it down, so the temperature was 50 and dropping. I did find a work around and was happy to see the 4-barrel natural gas furnace fire up.
That is pretty miserable, but the venison wouldnt spoil if you kept it oot.
