I know it’s getting to be a bit depressing around here given that the Wings are losing, and it seems no matter how hard they’re working on improving their play, they’re just not getting it done, and it’s getting monotonous. It’s tough being a Wings fan right now, and, for about the last 10 years or so………

I dunno, if the team cant be good, at least we can discuss managements likely moves from now until next season. But yes, this is now beyond frustrating. When things are going bad at my work, I tell myself OK, no sudden moves, whats next? and go from there. Sometimes you take a beat. The Red Wings are hopefully massive sellers. Its a live blog, bitches.

Hopefully they play well enough to win tonight. That would be a good highlight. We just had a mini tornado come through and place a tree in my back yard. So I'll look forward to cutting that down over the next few days or so. Pretty sure the neighbors will not be partaking in that.

Seriously, guys. Lets get into it: its better if they lose this game. I hate saying it, I hate thinking it, but it is. So tough to be a fan of a bad team.
Question. Does Erne get moved? He's having a difficult year. (like many other Wings)
Get moved to where, GR? I dont think they could get much for him, maybe a 4th or 5th round pick, but it would open up a roster spot for some younger player to grab his piece of cheese, if he is able. Many seem not able to.
If I have to choose between Erne and Soderbloom I'll take Lurch. He has (imo) grabbed his cheese but was a victim of a numbers situation.
it's waiver exemption status that really hurts his opportunity.

2 unrelated thoughts:
1) Erne may not be the most talented but you notice him because he works his fucking ass off every shift, he is just nonstop;
2) the RR 3rds are decent but all they needed was a white stripe on the pants instead of black to make them so much better.
He sure has. Erne has grabbed his piece of cheese and done whatever theyve asked and kept working. Others could take a lesson from him.
I do agree, Erne comes to play. Im still getting used to the 3rds.

I think Erne is the odd man oot if we ever get healthy enough to have a full roster. Sunny wins the spot of a similar player. Sutter is on thin ice also imho.
Watching the Sharks feed of the game (NBCSports Calif feed). Got to say it's refreshing. No gambling talk. No stupid pick the stick talk. No in-game telestrator out of the 80's. Picking up on ice audio.

The more I watch these away feeds the more I really despise Bally's coverage. Even WKBD 50 did a better job than Bally's.
About the most annoying thing on the Sharks feed is the talk of Detroit's reverse retro, "It's so ugly its cool looking."

Sharks in studio guys are hilarious. They had one of the guys demonstrate how to take the man not poke at the puck on the winning goal. He pushed the other guy out of the area and out of frame showing how to tie up a stick. Then he made a comment about how he just improved the show.
