The top players looked really solid! Kirill Tyutyayev was phenomenal! Berggren, Raymond, and Veleno and Pearson we’re great as well.

Victor Brattstrom played great in the 1st 2 periods. I also thought the defenceman looked great as well!

Tyutyayev is 2 inches taller than Caufield, so he’s gonna be 3% better than him.

Raymond/Berggren could be a thing for a long, long time.

And Veleno might very well be their center. So I hope Yzerman sells Veleno on the need for him to be in GR this season as a mentor/linemate for Berggren and Raymond. They looked really good together last night.

Imagine those three coming to Detroit in the fall of 2022 already having played together as a unit for 70+ games.
