Abel to Yzerman

Quick Recap- DRW/CBJ

I was getting a bit nervous after 40 minutes of play, thinking the only video I had was the Nick Lidstrom interview.

In the 3rd period, Tyler Bertuzzi scored, follow by the first NHL goal from Lucas Raymond.  Columbus scored on the power play to make it 2-1.

Namestnikov and Erne added an empty net goals to give the Wings a 4-1 win.

Lidstrom interview and Detroit goals are below and team stats too.

Next game is Thursday with the Wings hosting Cal-Gary.

Lucas Raymond

Bertuzzi gonna turn down his next tetanus booster shot at this rate. Excellent snipeage from Bert and Raymond!

Loosening the reins a bit, the boys can run.

We’ve got some talent now to complement what was already there. Now they’re able to let them play a bit more.

The cerebral play from Raymond and maybe even more so Seider is what continues to impress. I knew they were good, but they are very very good.

Meanwhile Edvinsson and Johansson are tearing up the SHL. Can’t wait for them to make the jump and fix that putrid left side.

I like the way Seider took that guy out of the play in the third period, just buried him.
