Once again why isn’t Namestnikov on the power play?

Why is Zadina on the PP?

Blashill says Lindstrom is day-to-day.  Leddy was a maintenance day and should be back tomorrow.

Where would he play and who would he replace?

Namestnikov could fill in for Zadina or Erne. What’s the issue on the Wings power play? They cannot score. Nasty is not afraid to go anywhere on the ice and he has a better shot and selection than both at this point.

I would also put Suter on 2nd power play. He can distribute the puck well and skates well. I would say bumper position would be best for him if Wings were using the role more traditionally but they seem to be following TBL’s 1-3-1 PP structure. The bumper player is more in the slot in that structure so Suter would be better on a flank. Just my humble opinion.

I could see the Erne argument, but I’m not sure I would give up on Zadina just yet.  Names has had a good year, but I still don’t think he has the greatest hands in the world to be patient and move the puck.

I am not giving up on Zadina, i think he was rushed and put in position where he could not succeed. Give the kid a break. Let him get back to the fundamentals and get a re-start.
