Hey got to see the Bruins last night.  the Wings are going up against a much better club in players and pct..  Playing in Boston makes it even harder. I suggest playing Griess because it is going to be a shooting gallery.  The Wings need to play “kitty by the door” my favorite expression, meaning only force the play when Boston gives opportunities, and they will.  Need to also play that way to stay out of the penalty box, they can literally maim (injure) the opponents with their PP, and this is where Griess would be in an arcade shooting gallery!  Injuries come from defending a PP, so let’s be careful out there.  Smother them with tight checking, lots of hits to finish your checks, they will try to score a dozen at home.  Another thing last night they had their BU goalie, who was weak on the two goals.

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977.  No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y.  Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation.  There are 19 readers of A2Y.
