Forsberg on the remarks by Ed Snider- from the Delaware County Times,
I would not go if I didn’t feel 100 percent. And then, it would not bother me. If anything was going on, I would not go. Because I know who is paying my salary and stuff, and what I have to do, and that I have a responsibility here. But if I do feel good and I do feel like it is not going to bother me, and I am fine and everything is going to be good, then I am going."read on

Where Are The Fans

from Kara Yorio of the Sporting News,
Came to the Meadowlands tonight to check out these Senators in person for the first time this season. ...It was a big victory for the Devils, witnessed by me and the 5-6,000 people who showed up at Continental Airlines Arena. (Do not believe the 10,000+ announced attendance. The lower bowl, which may be sold with season tickets, was half full. The upper deck was a joke.)read on

The William Morris Agency (WMA), the world's leading talent and literary agency, announced today that it has signed the National Hockey League for representation in several key areas of the entertainment industry. "With the NHL's exciting return to the ice, the league's future is bright and there are significant opportunities to utilize entertainment-based ventures to further extend the profile of its brand and its players," said Jim Wiatt, CEO of the William Morris Agency. "We are thrilled that Gary Bettman and his team have chosen William Morris as an important strategic partner to help accomplish the NHL's goals and to evaluate these new opportunities." The NHL will work with WMA on the integration of NHL players and the NHL brand with various entertainment channels, including film, television, videos and new media; the development of integrated media and marketing relationships in the entertainment community; and the development of NHL-influenced television and film programming. "Working with the William Morris Agency will only accentuate the enthusiastic response the `new' NHL has received," NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said. "We are confident WMA's strong entertainment relationships will help us build even greater awareness of our game and our players while attracting new fans."

Even if they are far off the playoff pace because of their slow start, they are starting to make life miserable for some of the teams above them in the standings. Nash, meanwhile, has scored 14 goals in 24 games; is averaging a point-a-game during the Blue Jackets' surge; and has been in on 27.7 per cent of the team's goals over that time frame.more
