Wings Sign Landon Ferraro

DETROIT—Red Wings executive vice president and general manager Ken Holland today announced the club has signed forward Landon Ferraro to a three-year entry level contract. In accordance with team policy, additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Ferraro, 19, was Detroit’s first selection, second round and 32nd overall, in the 2009 NHL draft. He currently plays for the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League, where he is second on the club with 11 points in 13 games.
