T.J. Galiardi Reaches Contract Agreement With Colorado

DENVER – The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that the team has signed forward T.J. Galiardi to a one-year contract through the 2011-12 season.

Galiardi, 23, was limited to 35 games this past season due to two separate injuries.  He missed 17 games due to a wrist injury from Nov. 12 to Dec. 15 and missed the final 28 games of the season due to a forearm injury suffered on Feb. 9 at Minnesota.  The Calgary, Alberta native finished with seven goals and eight assists for a total of 15 points.
