Oilers Sign Tanner House

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with free agent forward Tanner House on a two-year contract.
House, a Cochrane, Alberta native, just completed his senior year with the University of Maine Black Bears where he finished tied for 4th in team with 35 points (10G,25A) as well as 56 penalty minutes in 35 games. He won the Gladiator Hockey Best Defensive Forward in Hockey East with a +13 in league play, which ranked 10th among conference skaters.
The 6’1”, 195-pound captain of the Black Bears majored in Finance at the U of Maine finishing with a remarkable 3.8 GPA and was named the recipient of the University of Maine M Club’s Dean Smith Award, presented annually to the top male and female student-athlete at Maine.
