Columbus Recalls Steve Mason

The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled goaltender Steve Mason from the Syracuse Crunch, Columbus’ American Hockey League affiliate, and have assigned goaltender Dan LaCosta to the Crunch, Blue Jackets’ General Manager Scott Howson announced today.
Mason, 20, has gone 2-1-0 with a 1.63 goals-against average and .937 save percentage in three games with Syracuse this season. Playing his first professional season, he ranks third in the AHL in goals-against average and is fifth in save percentage.
