Montreal Canadiens Press Release:
Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced Monday the signing of forward Andrew Conboy to a three-year contract (2009-10 to 2011-12). As per club policy, financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Conboy, the Canadiens’ fifth-round pick, 142nd overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, registered one point (one assist) and served four penalty minutes in seven games this season with the AHL’s Hamilton Bulldogs.
More on Conboy from the Associated Press at the NY Post.
