WGR 550 has learned that Sabre Goalie Ryan Miller will be out for Wednesday night’s game against the Rangers due to an unknown injury. Jhonas Enroth is likely to get the start at the H.S.B.C. Arena. Patrick Lalime would serve as the back-up if that is the case. Lalime is returning from a knee injury. Miller was the NHL’s first star last week, going 3-and-0 with a pair of shutouts. He allowed 4 goals in Toronto on Tuesday night in a loss to the Maple Leafs.
Enroth has won his last 3 games between the pipes. He got wins against Ottawa on March 13th, Minnesota on March 6th and Montreal on February 15th.
We’ll have full details on the story as they become available.
Miller is 33-22-8 this season with a 2.60 goals against average and a .915 save percentage.
