Hodgson Says He Wants To Be Part Of Sabres’ Future

Restricted free agent Cody Hodgson hinted this morning on Toronto's TSN 1050 Radio that he's looking for contract negotiations with the Sabres to reach a successful conclusion so that he can rejoin the club.

"I'd like to be there, you know, for a few years at least," Hodgson said.  "I really like the organization.  I like the team, the players.  We've got a really good, young team that's full of good people with good character.  So, we're only going to get better and I want to be a part of that in the future."

Hodgson is looking for a significant raise from his previous contract that paid him just over $1.6M per season, inclusive of bonuses.
