Great news. But who do these 3 replace?
The top 3 lines played fantastic last night. Especially the Griffin line.

Pavs Hank Alf
Mule Helm Nyq
Tatar Shehan Jurco
Abe’s Glen Miller.

Feel bad for eaves.

And Bert, Cleary and Sam sit. I do t care how long they been along or how much they are paid.

Probably will be Eaves. Bert and Cleary are not sitting. Babcock loves them. If Alfie returns also, then Jurco gets sent back down.

Yea. I’m pretty sure of what’s going to happen. Doesn’t mean it should.
Alf. Pavs. Franzen. Andy.

- Shehan. Eaves. Glen. Jurco.

Not how it should be. Win at all costs. It’s not personal.

Sadly that is true and the Wings will be worse off for it.  All the talk is the Fans are giving up on the Team when , IF, KH does the above he has given up on the Team.

Cleary, Bert and Sammy do not have the speed, skills, energy, .. their careers are done.  They stuck out like sore thumbs in the game last night.  The kids and others out skated and out hit the Hawks.  The game was to fast for Cleary and Bert.

KH will decide if he wants to win or cover his butt and lose with 3 or 4 Vets who should know themselves their time is up.

Omg… when the injureds come back we are going to replace talent with talent instead of replacing “do nothings” with talent (like Sammy, bert and cleary).

I did not previously feel that way about Bertuzzi, but after last night, I do.

He was a non-factor during all 65 minutes of play, and only flashed a shred of his worth with that shootout goal.

Bert and Sammy should really consider retiring. Cleary should be given the memo that the gravy train stops here, and to find another sucker to pay him, I think Cleary has a couple years left in him, maybe as a locker room presence on a rebuilding team, but isn’t good for much more than 5-sh minutes a game at even strength, and not at all on special teams.

Sheahan, Glendening, and Jurco are all very special players, and will definitey be ready for a stretch run or playoffs. However, I think if our forwards are all healthy, the three of ‘em will get sent back to GR.

Marc Methot was a healthy schratch for Ottawa last night (for 3rd time this season).  How in the world isn’t Holland on the phone right now with Bryan Murray getting a deal done for Methot?!

* Datsyuk: either Sheahan or Glendening
* Alfredsson: Eaves
* Franzen: Jurco

and among the others:

* Andersson: Sheahan/Glendening whichever stays after Datsyuk is back

Great, another forward.

And how do you know he’s not?

Method is a big, physical stay at home D that would solidify top 4… not a forward.

I used to think Quincey was by far the Wings biggest def. liability… then the wheels completely fell off for Smith this season.

will be a shame to see glendening and sheahan go down to GR. They’ve been playing well. Jurco needs time to develop but still probably contributes more than Sammy. bert, cleary. I just call them SBC for now lol. SBC will be gone next year. I expect a good roster next year if alfie decides to re-sign.

Because Ottawa is not only in our Conference, they are in our Division and right behind us for the wild card spot.  No way they are trading anyone to Detroit unless they think they are ripping us off, or they feel they are out of the running.

As others have stated, Cleary will never sit.  It’ll be poor Eaves or Miller that gets unnecessarily benched.
