Glenn Healy is such a *#$%@& retard. “Will they play next year?” WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH THIS YEAR?

Whatever. Two evenly matched teams. My homerism tells me when the Wings are on, this series won’t be close…when the Wings play like they have the past two months, this series comes down to luck and bounces.
If the Wings come out of Nashville stealing one of the first two games, they’ll find a way to move on into the second round. If they’re down 2-0…the red lights better be flashing. The fact that everyone is picking Nashville actually helps the Wings.

Did you feel that? that’s all us level headed Wings’ fans shaking in our boots over the thought of playing the mighty Nashville Predators. Seriously HNIC,ESPN and other boneheaded so called “experts” all taking the fad pick in this matchup. Nevermind the fact that the only reason this matchup is taking place is: THE WINGS FREAKISHLY HAD HALF THEIR F***ING TEAM OUT INJURED FOR OVER A MONTH.
Nevermind that I can count on one hand( wait scratch that ) on my D!CK how many times Nashville has won a playoff series in their entire existence. So the “experts” are saying Shea Weber and Ryan Suter are going to shut the Wings top two lines down. RIIIIIIIGHT because the Wings have never played against the likes of Shea Weber and Ryan Suter before that proves otherwise. Sure this Wings team has some flaws, but they’re not that flawed. I could go on but I won’t. Wings in 6!

About The Malik Report
The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
Meh. Talking heads talking. You can analize this series until you’re blue in the face Until they hit the ice it’s anybodies guess as to which way this series will go.
