In the "Artistic Stuff" department...
The Detroit News noted that David "DaveArt" Gunnarsson" posted a picture of Gustavsson's Winter Classic mask...
I'm guessing that you've seen Petr Mrazek's Winter Classic pads by now, but if you haven't, former NHL goalie, Michigander and Vaughn representative Brent Johnson posted them on Twitter...
This morning, SlapShotGoal on Twitter noted that Michigan-based goalie mask artist Dave Bishop both posted a hint as to what he'll be doing during Christmas in painting Jimmy Howard's Winter Classic mask; he's also re-painted a circa-2002 mask for Manny Legace, and I don't know whether Jimmy Howard will wear this mask, but it's pretty cool:
The Detroit Free Press's James Jahnke noted that local musician Mike Posner's latest music video includes a Pavel Datsyuk cameo...
And I know that Puck Daddy posted this, but my goodness, is it ugly: the Toledo Walleye plan on wearing this jersey on December 28th:
Per the Walleye:
Wear your ugliest holiday sweater on Saturday, 12/28!
Don't put your festive holiday sweaters away right after Christmas - you'll want to wear them one more time in 2013 for Ugly Sweater Night, presented by Goodwill: Saturday, December 28. The Walleye team will be getting in on the action, wearing the ugliest holiday-themed uniforms you've ever seen!
The Walleye game-worn 'Ugly Sweater' jerseys will be available for purchase after the game via a live auction. Proceeds will benefit the Adaptive Sports Program of Ohio. The Adaptive Sports Program of Ohio is a 501(c)3 organization established to promote the health and wellness of individuals with physical disabilities by providing competitive and recreational adaptive sport opportunities throughout the State of Ohio. They offer eight sports, including Sled Hockey. The local team is named the Toledo Walleye Sled Hockey team and will be featured in the National Anthem and the Intermission Shootout Contest.

About The Malik Report
The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I've joined the Kukla's Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you'll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we're all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.
